How to Use Apple’s iPhone Mirroring Feature in the EU
Apple has announced that due to compliance issues with the Digital Markets Act (DMA), the new AI features will not be available in European Union (EU) countries this year. However, you can follow these steps to use the iPhone Mirroring feature in EU countries:
Necessary Updates
1. Update your iPhone to iOS 18 beta 2 or later.
2. Update your Mac to macOS 15 Sequoia beta 2 or later.
Editing the Eligibility File
1. Open Finder and navigate to the following path (use Shift + Cmd + G):
- /private/var/db/os_eligibility/eligibility.plist
2.Find the OS_ELIGIBILITY_DOMAIN_IRON key and edit the values as follows:

Disabling SIP (System Integrity Protection) and Editing the File for iPhone Mirroring
If you cannot edit the eligibility.plist file, try disabling SIP:
1. Shut down your Mac.
2. Restart your Mac and hold Command + R to enter macOS Recovery mode.
3. In the menu, choose Utilities > Terminal.
4. Type csrutil disable and press Enter.
5. Restart your Mac.
Re-enabling SIP After Editing the File
1. Shut down your Mac.
2. Restart your Mac and hold Command + R to enter macOS Recovery mode.
3. In the menu, choose Utilities > Terminal.
4. Type csrutil enable and press Enter.
5. Restart your Mac.
Changing Apple ID Region
1. On your iPhone, change your Apple ID account region to the United States.
2. Go to Settings > [your name] > Media & Purchases, and sign in with a U.S. App Store account.
